It is essential you follow the after care provided. This is to avoid damage to the area treated after completion of the procedure. This will help to avoid aggression of the problem and allow the area to heal, scar free.
On completion of the treatment the area should be left alone to ensure the natural healing of the skin. If the area feels dry or tender, a small amount of antiseptic cream maybe applied morning and night.
The scabs will form over the next 48 hours and should be left dry until they drop off on their own. This usually takes around 10 days.
If the area is likely to rub, a plaster may be over it. Ensure air can circulate to allow the scab to form.
*A new treatment can be given after 14 days. The same area cannot be treated until the skins healing process has been completed. This normally takes around 28 days.
During the consultation a small area may be treated, if indicated. This is check the suitability of the currents and methods used, the skin sensitivity, client tolerance and that the client follows the after care advice before further treatment is given.
